New Delhi, Jul 18: The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd today said it has received a contract from Korea-based Hyundai Industries for construction of two carriers.
''The order entails construction of two Suezmax crude carriers of 1,58,000 dwt each. The vessels are expected to be delivered in August and October 2011 respectively,'' a company statement said. No finacial details were divulged.
With this contract, the company's current new building order book 14 vessels aggregating 1.17 million dwt, it added.
