Sonia discusses political situation in AP with CM

Tirupati, Jul 17 (UNI) AICC president and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today discussed the political situation in Andhra Pradesh with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the Renigunta Airport near here.

Mrs Gandhi was on her way to Nellore and Ongole by special plane to participate in various programmes.

She also held discussions with local public representatives.

The Congress President, who was accompanied by Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Panabaka Lakshmi, left for Nellore along with the Chief Minister and PCC President D Srinivas.

TTD Chairman B Karunakar Reddy presented ''Srivari Vastram'' and ''Prasadam'' from the Venkateswara temple to Ms Gandhi.
