New Delhi, Jul 17 (UNI) With a view to encourage young talents to acquire technological, managerial and multicultural expertise, a world leader in naval equipment manufacture has awarded scholarships to six Indian students.
These six students would be joining two prestigious French institutes sponsored by DCNS -The Ecole Centrale de Nantes and Audencia Nantes School of Management- to pursue a specialised Master in mechanical engineering and management in France.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided additional benefits to the chosen scholars such as social security, health insurance, partial lodging assistance benefits and so forth. The scholarship awards are of an amount equivalent to 10000 euros per annum for each student.
The programme has been conceived as a well balanced mix of academic and industrial training. DCNS shall provide hands on training to the awardees with a possibilty of finally integrating the promising young engineers in their fold.
Presenting the scholarships today, Mr Jerome Bonnafont, Ambassador of France to India said,'' This year we have witnessed a welcome trend from three major Frnch companies to sponsor meritorious students to study in France.
