One held with forged passport
Kochi, Jul 17 (UNI) Immigration officials at the Nedumbaserry International Airport, near here, have nabbed a passenger, who arrived from Al Ain on a forged passport.
The officials caught Girisan (32) as he arrived here last evening by an Air India Express flight, carrying a passport in the name of one Browni Robinson of Kumbakonam, airport sources said.
On being questioned, Girisan had reportedly confessed that he got the passport in 2000 from a travel agent for Rs 4,500 after he lost the original one while trying to secure a job through another agent.
Girisan was working in Salalah since then and had been travelling frequently to Kerala through the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
