Mandi, Jul 17 (UNI) Newly appointed HPCC presideny Thakur Kaul Singh made a frontal attack on the BJP government for its anit people policies and said the people of the state had been disillusioned with the government in a short span of just six months.
Addressing a rally at Seri Pavilion here today he said all development had come to a halt and there was complete administrative mess in the state due to large scale trasfers from rural areas without providing substitutes. Employees were being made the rolling stones, he said and claimed that a large number of schools and health centres had been rendered staff less. T He lamented that there was large scale transfers of employees on political grounds and many among them were on the verge of retirement.
When the aggrieved employees knocked the doors of the state Administrative Tribunal and got stay orders the Dhumal government took a drastic and dictatorial action by scrapping the 21 years old tribunal, he alleged.
He alleged that chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal was meting out step montherly treatment with Mandi district. He said a conspiracy had been hatched to shift IIT sanctioned for Mandi by the central government to Hamirpur.
Mr Kaul Singh regretted that Himachal chief minister had flatly refused to mitigate the pangs of the consumers who had been hard hit by the increase of petroleum products.
He announced that a constituency-wise campaign would be launched by the Congress party expose the BJP which was taking credit for the development done during Congress rule.
