Faizabad court blast case: testimony of 3 witnesses recorded
Faizabad, Jul 17 (UNI) A local court today recorded testimony of three witnesses and deferred the November 23, 2007 Faizabad court blast case to August 4 and 5.
The case was heard by a special court set up in Faizabad district jail.
Four accused terrorists -- Khalid Mujahid, Tarik Kazami, Mohammad Akhtar and Sujjadurhaman -- were brought up from Lucknow jail and produced before Additional District Judge (III) R K Gautam.
The court today recorded testimony of Jai Prakash Srivastava, Ved Prakash and Neeraj.
Governments' counsel Ishwar Chandra Tiwari said till now testimony of seven witnesses have been recorded.
The witnesses were also cross questioned by the accused' lawyer.
There were total 33 witnesses in the case.
According to casualty in Faizabad court, four people had lost their lives and 24 others had sustained grievous wounds.
