Air India Express introduces new flight to Kuwait
Mangalore, July 17 (UNI) Low cost airliner Air India Express today introduced a new flight service between Mangalore and Kuwait via Sharjah.
The aircraft, arriving here from Calicut, will take off at 1930 hrs to Kuwait. At present there were flight services from here to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain and Muscat.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Ministry has issued a notification to the Airport Authority of India to enable the Bajpe Airport to handle cargo operations, Airport Director Mr Vasudeva told newspersons here.
With the commencement of the cargo operations, exporters and importers of the region, including northern parts of Kerala, will be benefitted, he added.
