New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) The Delhi Police have solved the case relating to the murder of a senior citizen in Amar Colony in South Delhi on May 5 with arrest of two persons, including the Bangladeshi mployed in the house.
24-year-old Badal Faraji, a resident of Bangladesh, was arrested early today from Seema Puri in East Delhi and his accomplice Sanjay arrested from Garhi area in South Delhi.
Interrogation revealed that Badal, who worked as a telephone operator and domestic help at the residence of 71-year-old Nirmala Madan, hatched the plan for her murder along with the co-accused Sanjay and on the night of May 5, the two murdered the elderly lady and later fled with several valuables.
After the murder, the main accused Badal fled to Bangladesh and later reentered India on July 13 with an intention to commit more crimes. However, he was arrested before he could commit more crimes.
Nirmala Madan was found murdered in her house on May 5 and her house found ransacked.
