Sonia to launch phase 2 of health insurance scheme in AP
Hyderabad, July 16 (UNI)All India Congress Committee (AICC) President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi would launch the second phase of the Rajiv Arogya Sri Health Insurance Scheme and dedicate Krishnapatnam Port to the nation during her day's visit to Andhra Pradesh tomorrow.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President D Srinivas told mediapersons here, Ms Gandhi would reach Tirupati from New Delhi by a special flight tomorrow morning.
After meeting public representatives and party workers there, she would leave for Nellore by helicopter.
After launching the second phase of Rajiv Arogya Sri Health Insurance Scheme, she would address a public meeting in Nellore before laying the foundation stone for thermal power generation plants of 1600 MW (800 MW each) in the district.
Later, she would proceed to Krishnapatnam in Nellore District to dedicate the port to the nation and interact with the officials and public there.
Ms Gandhi would proceed to Ongole in Prakasam District by helicopter and interact with women members of Self Help Groups.
After meeting public representatives and party workers at Vijayawada, she would leave for New Delhi by air the same evening.
Mr Srinivas and Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would proceed to Tirupati tomorrow morning to welcome Ms Gandhi.
