Nashik, Jul 16 (UNI) Activists of the Sambhaji Brigade today staged a 'rail roko' agitation at Nashik road Railway station.
The agitation was in support of the demand for reservation to the Maratha community and against the Maharashtra government's 'inaction' on the issue.
As many as 20-22 activists squatted in front of the Mumbai Lucknow Pushpak Express, when the train took its regular halt at the railway station.
They were led by the Brigade's leaders Ganesh Kadam and Gorade Kaka.
Both were taken into custody by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and later released.
