Police announces Rs 2.5 lakh reward on 'bikers gang'
New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) Stepping up pressure on the 'bikers gang', which had of late unleashed a terror in the capital, police today announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on five of the named accused.
Commissioner of Police Y S Dadwal announced the award of Rs 50,000 on each of the five named accused of the dreaded 'bikers gang'.
The five accused -- kingpin Om Prakash alias Bunty, Rajesh Sharma alias Pinki, Nasir alias Zakir, Mohammad alias Israel and Shiv Om alias Kalu -- were involved in four shootouts in which four people were killed in south Delhi last week.
The gang's first victim, on July 5, was a 25-year-old Sangam Vihar property dealer Sonu.
On Friday last they first killed two friends - Ashneet Singh, 24, and Harjeet Singh, 26 - at Amar Colony and then shot dead Sanjeev Suri, 30, near the Andrews Ganj crossing.
The same members of the 'Bunty gang' the next day shot dead Naresh and Pawan in south Delhi's Dakshinpuri area.
