INTACH signs MoU with Japanese Buddhist organisation
New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Japanese organisation for co-operation, prortection and preservation of cultural heritage sites in India.
Under the agreement, Shinnyo-en will provide INTACH USD 30,000 per annum for five years to enable the latter protect heritage sites across India.
The two sides also discussed proposals for restoration of Mangyu Monastery in Ladakh.
The MoU was signed on July 14, INTACH said today.
