Delhi based women smuggling heroin on Samjautha Express
Attari, Jul 16 (UNI) The three persons, including two women who were nabbed with six kg heroin after they alighted from the Lahore-Attari Samjautha Express here yesterday were Indian citizens and not Pakistani nationals.
Clarifying the nationality of the three, Customs officials today stated that the two women, identified as Daljit Kaur and Satinder Kaur are residents of Shastri Nagar in New Delhi, while the male was identified as Ashok Brij Arora, a resident of Lucknow.
The three were later arrested under the NDPS Act following a case registered at the Gharinda police station by the Punjab Police. The Customs officials who are investigating the matter gave no further details.
