7-member table soccer team for World Championship Series

Chandigarh, Jul 16 (UNI) A seven-member table soccer team of India will compete in the World Championship Series of Table Soccer to begin from tomorrow in Germany (Aschaffenburg).

The members of the team are Pawandeep Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Anitpal Singh, Hardial Singh, Preetinder Singh, Ashish Pathak.

Table Soccer Federation of India chairman Ravinder Talwar, who is also general secretary of the Chandigarh Olympic Association will accompany the team as official.

Announcing the team here today, Table Soccer Federation of India president Balwinder Singh Johal said that the team would leave for Germany tonight.

Teams from 22 countries are taking part in the World Series.
