1 more succumbs to rain-related diseases
Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) A 53-year-old man today succumbed to rain-related diseases in the metropolis, taking the death toll to 45, since the onset of the monsoon this year.
According to civic officials, the man was admitted to a private with gastroenteritis and succumbed to the same.
Meanwhile, no death has been reported in civic hospitals in the last 24 hours.
Of the 292 patients, who have been admitted with various diseases in civic hospitals, 173 have been admitted with fever, 59 for gastroenteritis, four with leptospirosis and 56 with malaria, the officials said.
