Youth Congress to take out Sadbhwna rally
Bhopal, July 15 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress President Jitu Patwari today said his party would organise 'Sadbhawna Yatra' and meetings in places that were affected by violence recently.
Addressing his first press conference here after being appointed, Mr Patwari said at least seven people died in violence during the VHP-sponsored 'Bharat bandh' to protest against revoking of land allotment made to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
He said 'Sadbhawna Yatra' and meetings would be organised in Indore, Ujjain, Satna, Gwalior and Dewas after situation becomes normal. A 'Yuva Jagriti Yatra' would be taken out next month to provide guidance to young people.
Replying to a question, he said the 'Yuva Jodo Abhiyan' was taken out by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha for political benefits but 'Yuva Jagriti Yatra' was aimed at social upliftment.
Mr Patwari said a demonstration would be staged against anti-people policies of the government and party workers would court arrest. The bugle would be blown in Shujalpur today, in Shajapur tomorrow, in Ujjain on July 17, in Ratlam on July 18 and 19 and in Mandsaur and Neemuch on July 20.
He said welcome programme for him would not be organised until state assembly elections due to less time and more work. 'One booth, 10 youth' would be implemented in view of polls.
