Amethi, Jul 15 (UNI) Throwing caution to the wind, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi breached his security cover and came out in the open to hear the grievances of common man during his current three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency.
Clad in his quintessential white kurta-pyjama, Rahul was more concerned about interacting with 'aam admi' (the common man) rather than his security, reports from Amethi said.
He was in Gauriganj tehsil on the second day of his trip. Earlier in the day, the Amethi MP had interacted with people at Sanjay Gandhi Guest House in Munshiganj and discussed their problems.
Notwithstanding being kept under the security cover of the Special Protection Group (SPG) and local security agencies sleuths', the youth scion had even crossed the barricades to know about the woes of people of Haliyapur village late yesterday.
The Congress leader also held a road show in the newly included areas in Amethi this time.
At the end of the day, he assured the people that their grievances would be addressed soon.
