Kolkata, Jul 15 (UNI) Expecting a better medal tally in the Asia body building contest in Hong kong, a four-member Indian team will leave here tonight to take part in the seven-day championship to be held from July 16 to 22.
Coach Tushar Sil will lead the side comprising Amit Chaudhary(28) from Uttar Pradesh in 85 kg category, Chandigarh's Ravi Kumar (20) in below 60 kg, Nepram Kishan Singh (20) of Manipur in 65 kg category and Punjab's Daljit Singh(30) in fitness championship.
India bagged one gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the last Asian championship contest held in Shanghai.
Amit Chaudhary, who won a bronze in the last Asian championship, said they will face a tough contest from the West Asian countries.
The contestants had been selected at the end of 48th senior national body building and fitness championship held at Aurangabad recently.
The contestants had also passed required doping tests, said coach Tushar Sil.
