Attari, July 15 (UNI) The Customs staff seized six kg heroin valued at Rs six crore in the international market from three Pakistani nationals who had alighted from the Lahore-Attari Samjautha Express here this afternoon.

The three Pak-nationals included two women, all of whom were later arrested under the NDPS Act following a case registered at the Gharinda police station by the Punjab Police.

According to Customs officals, the seizure was made during the search of the baggage of the three passengers.

The Customs staff here was tipped off by their Pakistani counterparts at the Wagah railway station across the border. The Pakistani officials made the tip off after seizing 10 kg heroin from two passengers during Customs clearance at the Wagah railway station.

The two persons taken into custody at Wagah had disclosed that another six kg of heroin had crossed the border in the Attari bound Samjautha Express.
