BJP to hold nine massive rallies in UP from Aug 24
Vrindavan, July 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today announced to hold nine massive rallies in the state starting from Ghaziabad on August 24, which would be addressed by senior party leaders Rajnath Singh and L K Advani.
Announcing this on the last day of the two-day working committee meeting here, state BJP president Rampati Ram Tripathi said after Gahazibad, the second rally would be held at Varanasi on August 28.
The rest would be held between September and mid-October in other regions of the state.
He also announced that from August 9 to 23, the party would hold agitation from block to district level over the failures of the central and the state governments in different fields. The party will also hold polling booth level demonstration by the mid of October.
''In the 15 days agitation from August 9, several senior party leaders, including Murli Manohar Joshi and Kalraj Mishra, would be invited to participate in these gatherings,'' the state BJP president informed.
