New Delhi, Jul 15 (UNI) Tainted Pakistan pacer Mohammed Asif is all set to hire noted British lawyer Mark Gay to defend him in the IPL dope case.
''I will fight to the last and will go for B sample testing because I have not taken any drug,'' Asif was quoted as saying by a private website.
Gay is known for his extra-ordinary knowledge in dealing dope related cases. He is a specialist in sports law and has extensive experience in advising both national and international governing bodies on disciplinary matters.
He was behind Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand's fight against an eight-month drug ban in 2003 and has also written some of the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) clauses in the past.
