New Delhi, Jul 14 (UNI) The Rashtriya Janata Party led by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has issued a whip asking its MPs to support the UPA government's confidence motion to come up during the special session of Parliament to be held from July 21.
Senior RJD leader Ramdev Bhandari said all the 24 MPs have been asked to come to Delhi and many of them have already reached the national capital.
He said a meeting of the party MPs would be convened by the RJD President just before the special session to finalise the strategy to be adopted with in the house.
The RJD President is playing a crucial role in garnering support for the UPA government. Mr Prasad is talking to various parties on the government's behalf.
Supporting the party president's stand, Mr Bhandari said his party wanted that the government must complete its term.
However, it was prepared to face the electorate and has taken a number of steps recently in this regard.
