New Delhi, Jul 14 (UNI) MIT's Technology Review Inc and CyberMedia today said, they have entered an agreement to launch Indian editions of the EmTech (Emerging Technologies) Conference and the magazine 'Technology Review'.
''We met with several excellent potential partners and went through a rigorous selection process,'' said Technology Review Editor-in-chief and publisher Jason Pontin.
The launch of EmTech India, the premier technology conference for corporate leaders, is planned for early 2009.
The Indian edition of Technology Review will be introduced at the conference and then published monthly.
''This will be the 16th media offering for us, expanding our existing presence in the technology sector,'' CyberMedia Group Chairman Pradeep Gupta.
This will be the first time an EmTech Conference will be held away from MIT and outside the United States.
The relationship with CyberMedia marks the fifth deal for an international edition signed in recent years by Technology Review.
