BJP welcomes TRS decision to vote against UPA Govt

Hyderabad, July 14 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and MP M Venkaiah Naidu today welcomed the Telangana Rashtra Samiti's decision to vote against the Manmohan Singh government during the motion of confidence in the Lok Sabha on July 22.

''I am happy that the TRS has at least now understood the deceit of the Congress party,'' he said at a press conference here.

Asked whether the BJP would join hands with the TRS, he said, ''in the first place, the TRS misunderstanding had been cleared...

There is still enough time for the elections. We will decide about electoral understanding only on the eve of the polls.'' On the ransacking of Telugu Daily Sakshi office by members of a particular minority community for publishing ''objectionable'' picture, hurting their religious sentiments, Mr Naidu said it was highly improper for any section of the society to take law into their hands.

Of late, violent attacks on the media was increasing, he said referring to the attack on the office of another vernacular daily Andhra Jyothi by members of a Dalit outfit.
