Six railway passengers drugged and robbed in Bihar
Patna, Jul 12: Six railway passengers were found drugged and unconscious in the general compartments of DN Sampoorna Kranti Express and Janasadharan Express near here.
East Cenntral Railway sources informed here today that the victims were admitted to the Danapur Railway hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger, though two of them were yet to regain consciousness.
The victims were allegedly targetted by a gang of miscreants, who first became friendly with them, before mixing some drugs with their tea somewhere between Tundala and Kanpur stations yesterday.
After consuming the intoxicated drink all the six passengers fell unconscious and the conmen robbed their entire belongings and valuables.
Among the victims, four were from Vaishali, while the identity of the other two unconscious persons could not be ascertained so far, the sources added.
Meanwhile efforts were on to nab the culprits.
