BJP to question Mah Govt: Khadse
Nashik, Jul 12 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP general secretary Eknath Khadse today said his party would question the state government regarding the attack on an activist by police during an agitation here yesterday.
''Attack on our activist was like a pre-planned act by the police.
This was done to hide their incapacity to curb the rising crime rate here. The government, especially Home Minister R R Patil, will be questioned regarding this in the forthcoming Legislative Assembly monsoon session,'' Mr Khadse said here.
He visited Dhananjay Buchade, the BJP activist who was injured in the police action during the party's agitation at Ravivar Karanja yesterday. The party had staged the agitation to protest the insult of the statue of their leader Gopinath Munde by NCP activists in Pune.
Mr Khadse, who was here for a programme, visited Buchade and inquired about his health.
Buchade, who is recuperating in the District Civil Hospital here, will be shifted to a private hospital later.
