BJP dissidents get important berths in party organisation
Patna, Jul 12 (UNI) In a bid to mollify the dissidents, who were on forefront in their tirade against senior BJP leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi recently, the state party leadership has adjusted prominent among them at various levels in the organisation.
State BJP president Radha Mohan Singh told reporters here today that former Minister Janardan Singh Sigriwal was appointed general secretary of state unit of the party, while another former Minister Chandra Mohan Rai had been made special invitee to national executive of the organisation.
Two party MLAs - Rameshwar Prasad and Nityanand Rai - were made vice-presidents of the state unit of the party, he said adding structure of its office-bearers had been recast with the induction of 33 per cent women at different levels as per policy of the national executive committee.
