'The Loot' on spree to open 100 shops in India
Panaji, July 11 (UNI) 'The Loot', India's first multi-brand discount store of garments, footwear and accessories is targetting a Rs 100 crore turnover in the current fiscal even as it plans to open 100 more shops across the country by March 31 next.
Speaking at the launch of its new store in Goa, the 34th in the country, Company MD Jay Gupta said the stores had achieved Rs 51 crore turnover last fiscal with more people favouring branded items at affordable costs.
''Our aim is to offer branded items at affordable costs with discounts ranging from 25 per cent to 60 per cent, throughout the year. We have mastered the art of disorganised to organised retailing with professional management,'' Mr Gupta said.
To propel the Company's growth and move it to the next level, The Loot had invested skillfully in IT and supply chain management.
The Company had invested in India's first surplus warehouse of 60,000 sq ft equipped with the latest technology, he added.
