Jeev off to a flying start at Scottish Open

By Staff

Loch Lomond, Jul 11 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh made yet another fine start with a three-under 68 to occupy the tied 19th place at the Scottish Open here.

The Indian ace, who is only four shots off the lead, started with birdies on the first and third. He then bogeyed the tenth but birdied the 13th and 14th.

Among the other Indians in the fray, Shiv Kapur was way behind with an even par 71 to be tied 77th and fellow PGTI member SSP Chowrasia shot 72 to be tied 98th.

The lead is jointly held by former Asian Tour No 1 Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand and Alexander Noren of Sweden.
