Haryana: DHBVN places aerial bunched cables
Chandigarh, Jul 11: The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to replace all electricity lines with bare conductor, crossing public parks, with aerial bunched (AB) cables.
"As the bare conductor of electricity lines causes potential danger for human life, it has been decided that all existing bare ACSR high tension (HT) or low tension (LT) lines passing over public parks would be replaced with HT AB or LT AB cables at Nigam's cost," a spokesman of the Nigam said here today.
In addition, all existing distribution transformers (DTs) in such parks would also be properly fenced at Nigam's cost, he added.
