AP govt. to provide 'pavala vaddi' loans for INDIRAMMA housing
Hyderabad, July 11(UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today announced that the state government would provide "pavala vaddi"(3 per cent annual) loans for INDIRAMMA Housing Scheme beneficiaries in the state.
While reviewing the INDIRAMMA Housing Scheme here, Dr Reddy directed officials that land problems should be resolved on priority basis.He told the officials to see that at least the land be allotted in the urban areas so that the beneficiary should be sure of his house.
A meeting of the revenue and other officials concerned would be convened shortly to sort out the land acquisition and allotment problems,he said.
He exhorted the officials that the houses should be completed within three months so that more than 20 lakh houses would be fully completed and handed over to the beneficiaries for occupation.
Applications which were being received from June 25 to July 15 for 'Intinta INDIRAMMA', under Phase III of INDIRAMMA housing, will be extended up to July 20.
