Airtel rated as India's most innovative company
Ahmedabad, Jul 11 (UNI) Bharti Airtel Limited has been voted as India's most innovative company in responding to customers' needs, according to a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal to determine Asia's 200 most-admired companies.
In an editor's note, The Wall Street Journal said ''Innovation doesn't just mean bringing new products and services to a market. It also means anticipating customer needs, employing sophisticated approaches to customer service, and being good at coming up with creative ideas.'' Talking about Bharti Airtel, The Wall Street Journal said ''India's largest mobile operator created unique products for the Indian market and imported smart ideas from overseas, extending their reach into Indian society and raising standards of service.'' Bharti Airtel Limited, a group company of Bharti Enterprises, is India's leading integrated telecom services provider has been rated among the best performing companies in the world in the BusinessWeek IT 100 list 2007.
