New Delhi, Jul 11 (UNI) In the wake of changing political scenario, BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani has met several RSS leaders, including its 'sarsanghchalak' K S Sudarshan.
Mr Advani, who was accompanied by BJP president Rajnath Singh, met the 'sangh' leaders at dinner in Jhinjholi, Haryana on Wednesday last and discussed several issues including Indo-US nuclear deal and the current political situation with them.
'Sangh' leaders are presently meeting at Jhinjholi at an All India Conclave of its rank and file.
At the meeting with Mr Advani and Mr Rajnath, Sangh's 'sahkarvah' Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat and senior leaders Suresh Sogi and Madandas Devi were present along with VHP's Ashok Singhal and general secretary Dr Pravin Togadia.
However, no one commented on what transpired at the meeting, but sources said the current political situation arising out of the nuclear deal, forthcoming special session of the Lok Sabha and the likely general elections were discussed at length.
They also discussed the party's preparedness in the event of immediate elections, sources said while adding that 'Sangh' leaders suggested the party coordinate with its other 'affiliates' like Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Swadeshi Jagran Manch.
