Sutherland signs pact with California based co

Chennai, Jul 10: BPO Company Sutherland Global Services on Monday, July 7 said it has signed a customer and technical support outsourcing agreement with California-based mobile entertainment company Jamba for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the agreement, Sutherland will provide usage support, billing queries, contract extensions and technical support to Jamba's customers, a company release here said. "We are pleased to have the opportunity to leverage our deep domain expertise and global presence to design outsourcing solutions that enhance the competitive position of our clients" Sutherland Global Services Chairman and CEO Dilip Vellodi said.

Sutherland currently employees 21,000 people worldwide and is in the process of setting up a campus in Chennai to support 10,000 people.

The company, as part of its expansion plans in Kerala, is targeting to double its headcount in Kochi to over 3,000 employees over the next 18 months, the release added.
