No major rainfall in Bihar, rivers flowing below danger level
Patna, Jul 10 (UNI) Weather in Bihar continued to remain dry and sultry for the second day today with the maximum temperature, coupled with high humidity, soaring to more than 34 degrees.
According to the local Met office, the sky would remain overcast during the next 24 hours and the possibility of intermittent rain in some parts of the state during the period could not be ruled out.
They said while the day's maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2 degrees, the minimum was pegged at 26.2 degrees in different areas, including Patna, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
All major rivers in the state were flowing much below the danger level as there was no report of any heavy rain from any part of Bihar during the past 48 hours, the sources added.
