Hyderabad, Jul 9 (UNI) Asserting that the United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) would be voting against the Manmohan Singh government during the confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today charged that the Samajwadi Party (SP) lost its place in the UNPA after submitting its letter to President Pratibha Singh Patil in support of the UPA.
Talking to UNI, TDP official Spokesperson and MP MV Mysoora Reddy said, ''now, the SP is not a part of the UNPA. The decision of the SP was against the policy of the UNPA, which was formed as an alternative to the Congress-led UPA and BJP-led NDA.'' Demanding that the UPA seek vote of confidence to prove its majority in Parliament immediately, Mr Reddy welcomed the decision of the Left parties, which withdrew its support to the UPA on Nuclear deal issue. ''The TDP and the other UNPA partners would vote against the UPA when it moves the trust motion,'' he said.
He said the TDPwould carry forward the alliance wiith CPI(M) the 2009 general elections.
