Singapore Airlines to add seven more flights
Bangalore, July 9 (UNI) Singapore Airlines would introduce seven more flights to the existing 58 from India to cash in the influx of tourists from the sub-continent to the Far East by intoducing two new flights from Bangalore and five from New Delhi.
Informing this to reporters here today, Airlines Karnataka Manager Louis Arul announced a value package in association with Malaysia Tourism offering enchanting holiday experience that includes Kuala Lumpur, Langkwai, Penang, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
Replying to a question, he said depending upon the demand the schedule might be increased from Chennai to Singapore as well.
The Singapore Airlines had registered 20 per cent year-on-year growth in its Indian operations, he said adding that increase in fuel cost had not affected the operations and there was no immediate proposal to hike the fares.
