Pak to strengthen cooperation with Malaysia in agriculture:Gilani
Singapore, Jul 8 (UNI) Pakistan is working on strengthening cooperation with Malaysia in agriculture and other fields, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said in Kuala Lumpur today.
Mr Gilani held a bilateral meeting with his Malaysian counterpart Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, discussing a wide range of issues with agriculture being among the main issues of discussion between the two leaders.
The two leaders also discussed skyrocketing crude oil prices.
Mr Gilani is leading a 50-member strong delegation to the D-8 Summit being held in Kuala Lumpur this week.
Leaders from the D-8 countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Nigeria, Malaysia, Pakistan and Turkey, are participating in the summit.
D-8, the Group of Eight Islamic Developing countries established in 1997, focuses on promoting bilateral and multi-lateral economic development among member countries.
