37 Bangladeshi infiltrators nabbed in Meghalaya
Shillong, Jul 8 (UNI) The Border Security Force has nabbed 37 Bangladeshi nationals in the border area of Dawki at Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya.
In a statement here today, the BSF said the patrol of border putpost at Latangtilla in Dawki apprehended a group of Bangladeshi nationals entering Indian territory yesterday.
The BSF personnel rushed to the spot and apprehended 37 Bangldeshi nationals, mostly women and children, coming from Gowainghat under Sylhet district.
The Bangladeshi nationals claimed that they came to India for purchasing essentials from Dawki market due to the flood in the bordering areas of Bangladesh under Sylhet district.
