New Delhi, Jul 7 (UNI) The VHP today strongly condemned the ''jihadi attack'' on Indian embassy in Kabul and said the policy of Muslim appeasement was taking the country to the brink where Indians even on foreign shores were being targeted by forces out to ''finish India''.
''It is not only in India but also in our own embassy in other countries that Indians are not safe,'' said VHP general secretary Pravin Togadia adding that jihadi attacks and the policy of Muslim appeasement were ''most shameful and dangerous'' for the country.
Coming down heavily on the government for not being able to protect its citizens -- ''senior diplomats, army men, engineers -- who are working not just in Afghanistan but also in many other countries, the VHP leader said, ''India's PM weeps when some Haneef is caught in Australia for terror, but when our IFS officer V V Rao, Brigadier R D Mehta die in jihadi attack, the PM has no time even for his own statement.'' Calling upon countrymen to stand up against this injustice and onslaught, he said, ''Hindus should stand up soon against this, lest with the help of such Muslim appeasement, jihad will not take much time to finish India.'' Condemning the government for not doing enough to protect Indians abroad, which several incidents -- like killing of two engineers of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in April this year, beheading of a telecom engineer, K Suryanarayan in April 2006 and abduction and killing of a BRO driver Maniappan Kutty in November 2005 -- had proved, he said it was time to wake up.
''Instead of fighting jihad and hanging Afzal Guru, people in the government here are inaugurating Haj Houses in various cities...
besides giving special quota for Muslims in government housing and loans...'' If the government can't protect Hindus it must go and Hindus should start protecting themselves and fight Jihad, he added.
