New Delhi, Jul 7 (UNI) Indian tennis ace Leander Paes jumped eight places to the 15th spot in the latest ATP doubles rankings released today.
The jump was propelled by Paes' fine performance at Wimbledon where he reached the doubles semi-final alongwith Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy.
His points tally now stands at 2250 in the latest rankings.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhupathi improved one spot to 12th despite a shocking first-round exit at Wimbledon.
Bhupathi's tally stands at 2940 points.
In the WTA rankings, Sania Mirza slipped one spot to 33.
The Hyderabad player who made a second-round exit in the women's singles at Wimbledon, has 867 points.
However, Sania improved her position in the doubles rankings, rising a notch to the 18th spot.
Her tally in the WTA doubles chart stands at 1855 points.
