International designer eyewear launched in India through Goa
Panaji, Jul 7 (UNI) Eleven international brands of eye-catching designer eyewear were today launched in India, with super models walking the ramp at a popular beach resort in Vanguinim in this international tourist destination.
These brands from France and Italy are aimed at the high-end customers, with price of each brand starting off from Rs 8,000.
The international brands included Thierry Mugler, Riodenstok, Laura Bagiotti, Trusardi, Ungaro, Exte, Blumarine, John Richmond, Glanfranco Ferre and Byblos.
Surat-based PS Optics company has introduced the products in presence of the brand representatives from Europe and the Indian dealers.
Glamorous models, including Sheetal Malhar (Super Model, MTV Style Awards-2007), Sindhura Gadde (Miss India World 2005), Niharika Singh (Miss India Earth 2005) besides popular Bollywood actress Preeti Jhangiani and television actress Deepshikha, walked the ramp displaying the stunning glasses.
Interacting with mediapersons, the company proprietor Haresh Moradi said the sales of international optical brands have just started picking up in India, which accounts for only five per cent of the global market.
