Haryana School of Business set up in GJ university

Chandigarh, Jul 7 (UNI) In a bid to provide quality education of the level of IIMs, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar has established a Haryana School of Business in the university with an intake of 175 students.

Stating this today, Vice-Chancellor Devinder Dayal Singh Sandhu said that group discussion and interviews for admissions to MBA programme in the school were held at the University campus today.

Giving details of the admission criteria, he said fifty per cent weightage would be given to CAT score, thirty per cent weightage to academic score, ten per cent weightage each to group discussion and personal interview.

Prof S C Kundu, Director and Dean of Haryana School of Business said that experts from IIMs, ISB Hyderabad, MDI Gurgaon, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Jammu University, Jammu, Delhi University, Delhi, GNDU Amritsar, Osmania University, Hyderabad, MDU, Rohtak, KU Kurukshetra, India Bulls Securities Ltd., IDBI Bank, ITC Ltd., Maruti Udyog Ltd., Jindal Industries, ICICI Bank Ltd. had been invited to hold group discussion and interviews of admission seekers at Haryana School of Business, Hisar.
