Mumbai, Jul 7 (UNI) Students of 400 schools from all over the country will get an opportunity to host their favourite show in a new series launched by Disney channel.
The new show -- Talk Out Loud -- would give an opportunity to three lakh children in the age group of 8-15 years from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Kanpur and Indore to enroll for the competition through SMS/IVRS or logging on to the channel's website from July 12.
Schools would also be invited to send entries for the programme, a release issued here today stated.
Fifty participants would be short-listed per city judged on their stage presence, confidence and style. Ten semi-finalists would then be further selected from each of the cities based on the participants' creativity, humour, wit, interests and would be groomed in communication and presentation skills before the final selection, the release said.
Commenting on the program, Walt Disney Television International (India) SVP, MD Antoine Villeneuve said, ''The show -- Talk Out Loud -- aims to connect with the audience through their own idioms, while providing a platform for fans to express themselves.'' UNI ZC GR PK UCS1416
