''A rally will be taken out at 1100 hrs from Tin Shed (area) to Roshanpura. A meeting to be conducted at Roshanpura crossing will be addressed by Congress state President Suresh Pachouri and other senior leaders,'' the party's state unit spokesman Manak Agrawal said at a press conference here today.
A procession -- including Mr Pachouri, Congress general secretaries V Narayanasamy and Digvijay Singh, Ms Devi, state Congress Election Campaign Committee Chairman Ajay Singh, office-bearers of fronts and organisations -- would then head for the Assembly.
''The ill-treatment meted out to Ms Devi -- outside the Chief Minister's residence yesterday -- will be a poll issue,'' said Mr Agrawal.
The Congress not only demanded a judicial probe into the incident outside the residence but also called for action against police and administrative officials for senior leaders being taken into custody at Indore airport.
