Amarinder refutes Vigilance Bureau claim
Patiala, Jul 8 (UNI) Former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh today expressed fears that the state Vigilance Bureau (PVB) was creating grounds for his custodial interrogation by issuing statements that he did not cooperate with the VB officials who had questioned him in the disproportionate assets yesterday.
He refuted the claims of the VB that he had been uncooperative and had failed to provide satisfactory answers to the queries of the vigilance officials during the marathon six and a half hour grilling at the Circuit House here.
" I replied to every question and will submit my reply to all further querries of the VB within the stipulated eight week period", he told mediapersons here.
Denying that he evaded queries, Capt Singh claimed that the VB was creating grounds for his custodial interrogation by giving statements to the media that he had been uncooperative.
