Rajasthan police attacked by villagers in Punjab
Fatehgarh Sahib, Jul 6 (UNI) A team of the Rajasthan police was attacked when they raided the house of a proclaimed offender (PO) in Alampur village near Bassi Pathana today, local police sources here confirmed.
Sources said that the team had come to arrest PO, Paramjit Singh who was wanted in a case resgietered at Kuchera police station of Nagaur district of Rajasthan.
On the statement of Head Constable Bhagwan Singh who was a member of the team, the Bassi Pathana police has registered a case against Paramjit Singh, Kamaljit Kaur, Santa Singh, all residents of Alampur. Constable Mani Ram of the Rajasthan police sustained minor injuries in the attack.
