BJP invites Young blood, starts month-long Yatra
Lucknow, July 6 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today commenced a month-long ''Grameen Yuva Sampark Yatra'' in order to invite youths contribution in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
The Yatra, which commenced from Barabanki, was given the green light by BJP president Rajnath Singh's son Pankaj Singh.
''The BJP district unit workers would visit villages and ask the youth to come forward,'' said Pankaj, who is also a member of the party's state working committee.
The youth should utilise their energy in the right direction and contribute in the approaching election, he added.
The BJP leader further charged the Mayawati government with being hand-in-glove with her criminal-background ministers and MLAs.
