Return land to Amarnath Board: Muslim organisation
Barwani, MP, Jul 5 (UNI) Opposing the decision of revoking of land allotted to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board by the Jammu and Kashmir government, a local Muslim organisation has demanded that the land should be provided to the board again.
A delegation led by Muslim Jamat's Sadar Aslam Khane submitted a memorandum in the name of President Pratibha Devisingh Patil to the district administration.
The memorandum stated that sit-ins and demonstrations were being staged in the aftermath of the decision creating an atmosphere of hatred. The Muslim community was against communalism and discrimination.
A UNI report from Ratlam said, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch's Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in-charge Mustafa Khan had also demanded providing land to the SASB immediately.
