Bodh Gaya, Jul 5 (UNI) Railway Minister and RJD president Lalu Prasad today alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had failed on all fronts including law and order situation.
Addressing the party workers here, Mr Prasad said the government was misleading the common man by making tall claims.
He said the NDA leaders had assured to bring back the law and order sitaution within three months of coming to power.
"Even after more than two years in office, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar failed to improve the law and order in the state and crime graph was increasing with each passing day'', he added.
The RJD supported by the Congress party was in power before the NDA came to power.
Referring to the claim of Mr Kumar on attracting the investment in agriculture, industries, health and infrastructural sectors for fast development of Bihar, Mr Yadav said despite his tall claims, ground reality remained more and less unchanged.
Mr Prasad alleged that there was widespread irregularities in utilisation of funds for implementation of the various welfare and development projects in the state. For implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme(NREGA), Centre had provided sufficient fund to the state government but its performance on this front was dismal as number of people getting job cards was far less than the targeted figure.
